(Munich, December 28, 2012) Onex Corporation (“Onex”) (TSX: OCX) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of KraussMaffei Group, a leading manufacturer of plastic and rubber processing equipment, for € 568 million.

(Munich, November 27, 2012) The KraussMaffei Group today officially commissioned the second assembly hall at the plant in Sucany (Slovakia). Production therefore started earlier than planned. This means that the production capacity is being doubled just two years after the opening of the Sucany plant.

(Munich, November 19. 2012) The legal form of KraussMaffei AG was changed to KraussMaffei GmbH with effect from November 15, 2012. The identity of the legal entity remains the same with this change of form, only the legal form changes.

(Munich, Roskilde, November 15, 2012) SAXE Nordic Plast AB has taken over responsibility for sales of injection molding products bearing the KraussMaffei brand in Sweden with immediate effect. The company has already been successfully managing sales and service of Netstal products for many years and is taking on all employees of KraussMaffei.

(Munich, October 04, 2012) Coscollola Comercial SL has been successfully selling products bearing the KraussMaffei and KraussMaffei Berstorff brands on the Spanish market for fifty years. The third-generation family-run company is therefore the agency with which KraussMaffei has cooperated for the longest period of time.

(Munich, Florence, October 1, 2012) The KraussMaffei Group is pooling its business activities in the USA with effect from October 1, 2012. As part of this measure, the plant of Netstal USA will be relocated from Devens (Massachusetts) to Florence (Kentucky). Products of all three brands - KraussMaffei, KraussMaffei Berstorff and Netstal - will therefore be sold under this single umbrella in future.

(Munich, September 26, 2012) Onex Corporation, a North American private equity firm, has agreed to acquire KraussMaffei Group. The firm today signed the purchase contract to acquire the company from Madison Capital, the owner of KraussMaffei Group since 2006.

The KraussMaffei Group has appointed Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz as “President” of a common Group-wide Injection Molding Machinery Segment. Bernhard Merki, CEO of Netstal Maschinen AG, is leaving the company. Dr. Karlheinz Bourdon and Frank Peters, previously responsible for the Injection Molding Machinery and Reaction Process Machinery business at KraussMaffei, will take up new posts within the segment.
