The purchasing volume within the KraussMaffei Group is spread over five major groups of materials: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, systems, general commodities and services.These five material groups are subdivided into a series of sub-material groups.
To provide you with an overview of the essential material groups, we have shown the turnover volumes of the five groups and defined the core material groups.
Mechanical system material group
The purchasing volume in our mechanical system material group is over 90 million euros per annum. The most important material groups are:

- Spheroidal cast iron

Electrical system material group
The purchasing volume in our electrical system material group is over 40 million euros per annum. The most important material groups are:

Hydraulic system material group
The purchasing volume in our hydraulic system material group is over 30 million euros per annum. The most important material groups are:
- Pumps
- Valves
- Hoses
- Fittings
- Hydraulic motors
Systems material group
The purchasing volume in our systems material group is over 50 million euros per annum. The most important material groups are:
- Injection molding peripherals
- Injection moldings (CD/DVD/PET)
- Extrusion follow-up equipment
- Peripherals for reaction machinery
General commodities and services material group
The purchasing volume in our general commodities and services material group is over 50 million euros per annum. The most important material groups are:
- External assembly and services
- Transport and packaging services
